Seasonal Weather
Winter - December, January, February
The winter months at Burr Oak Resort are generally mild with primarily rain, but some snow may be seen during the months of January and February. Large accumulations are the exception to the rule. The average high is 45 degrees with an average low of 32. Guests will need to pack warm clothes. This includes overcoats, boots, gloves, scarves and hats, but don't forget your bathing suits for indoor swimming.
Spring - March, April, May
Spring is a potpourri of weather conditions in southeastern Ohio. Cold mornings may warm into comfortable afternoons during the spring. Some spring days may see snow flurries in the morning and sunshine and sixty in the afternoon. Average high is 55 degrees in March to 75 degrees in May. Low temperatures range from the mid-20's in March to the mid-50's in May. Guests should pack for a variety of weather conditions.
Summer - June, July, August
The long hot days of summer are the best times to get out and enjoy all the park's offerings. Hiking, swimming, jogging and viewing nature are just a few of the many popular activities at Burr Oak. Daily temperatures average 88 degrees. Pack light clothes and plenty of sunscreen for daytime outdoors.
Autumn - September, October, November
Autumn at Burr Oak must be seen to be believed! A spectacular color show, compliments of Mother Nature, can only be fully appreciated by being here. Daily temperatures remain very warm through October, with an average high of 70 degrees. After nightfall, however, temperatures dip into the mid-50's. Through mid-November the days stay warm. November averages range mid to upper 50's during the day with high 30's at night. Guests should pack warmly but be prepared during the early part of the season with shorts and T-shirts.
